THE MIDNIGHT CASK SOCIETY

An Investment & Private Cask Program

Invest in Hogback Distillery and enjoy membership to the Midnight Cask Society. By making an investment to support our growth you can enjoy the following benefits in addition to receiving shares in the business.

Option to Distil your own 53gal  or 15gal barrel of whiskey, then follow its path to maturity.

100% Single Malt Whisky. Distilled in Colorado the Scottish way. Bourbon Whiskey to follow.

Or Blend and bottle a unique whiskey.

Whether you are an investor, a whiskey connoisseur that owns a tantalising collection of great whiskies, a whiskey club or just a passionate group of friends that enjoy whiskies together, there is one experience that few people get to enjoy… to support a growing distillery while also distilling and /or blending a whiskey, tailored to their taste and bottled when they think it’s ready.

Choose to be as involved as much as you want to be. From selecting the grains and the barrel to mashing, distilling and filling the cask. Whether distilling, proofing or blending, we will be on-hand the whole way to make your whiskey and experience as special and as memorable as possible.

Why join the Midnight Cask Society?

Hogback Distillery owner and founder of the Midnight Cask Society, Graeme Wallace has been an extremely passionate and knowledgeable whiskey advocate for decades. With over twenty years involvement in the Scotch whisky industry prior to establishing Hogback in 2017, and having had the privilege to taste (and own) some of the most rare whiskies in the world, the goal of the society is to support and develop others passion, knowledge and appreciation for whiskey.

While our focus is on American Single Malt, we have an appreciation for all whiskies and derive a great deal of enjoyment from experimenting and exploring how different grains, barrels and regions affect a spirits character. We understand that no two barrels of whiskey will be the same, nor will two peoples tastes..

We encourage input and involvement at any and every stage of the process; but even if it’s simply selecting a “finishing barrel” we would love to support you in order to create your one-of-a-kind whiskey.

Members are free to visit the distillery at any time and can sample their barrel up to three times per year. We also hold an annual gathering for members to taste and share their whiskey with fellow members. Sharing ideas, feedback and stories with like-minded enthusiasts can only enhance your whiskey experience and there is always time to switch barrels if you want a change in direction of flavor.

Society members will also have the first option to sample and purchase special releases from Hogback Distillery’s own stock.

More Details

Hogback Distillery has been distilling in Colorado since 2018, with the focus on producing American Single Malt whisky, and in particular, malt whisky distilled from peated malted grain brought over from Scotland.

Sitting on stocks that are up to six years old, we are ready to increase our footprint in the marketplace, and are doing this by offering shares in the company to investors. We believe whiskey enthusiasts make ideal investors and would love to share the whole experience and final product with those that believe in us.

Depending on the level of investment, you could enjoy creating a blended or personally selecting a whiskey to be bottled; or distil your own a barrel of your distilled spirit; all in addition to having a share in our success.

If distilling is what excites and interests you, there is so much to get involved in. From choosing a Colorado, USA or UK grain and a particular yeast strains to selecting the barrel types and entry proof. If you want to learn and eventually enjoy the result, there is no better project.

What’s Included in the Cask Program?
